The launch of Google’s Licensable Badge seems to be getting closer. By inserting a code in a code in the IPTC header of an image, photographers can license photos when Google users come across their images in Google image searches. The feature displays the licensable badge on the image, indicating that the image requiring a license to be purchased for use. The spectator can then click on the badge and ascertain where a license will need to be purchased.
